Men don’t view relationships in the same positive light as women do. This is a known ideology and if your partner isn’t aware, we will never admit it anyway… Duh. If it was up to us, we’d be single and exploring as many opportunities as plausible until our little bananas turned to mush. In the real world, for most of us that isn’t a possibility and/or just not the way to live our lives so let’s embrace a healthy relationship that does have its perks. Let’s evolve fellow Love Monkeys!
Partner in crime
Some of us enjoy “me” time which is understandable but isn’t it also great to have someone readily available to accompany you to run boring errands and other random places.
For some reason, parents seem happier and more inviting when you are in a relationship. For example, if I’m heading over to my parents house alone and single, I’ll be chewing on 4 day old leftover Chinese food. However, if I’m spoken for and its known I’m bringing the girlfriend, I could expect a warm cooked meal which is just lovely!
We all have an annoying co-worker, acquaintance or even a family member that is always trying to acquire some of your time. When you are in a relationship, you always have an out in these situations. “Sorry, we are visiting my girlfriend’s parents this weekend.” Sound familiar?
Why not take advantage of having your sexy lady in bed with you when the sun (among other things) rises in the morning? Some may say that you can do the same if you are single via one night stands and friends with benefits. Well, do you really want those adventures in your bed all night? Um no! Therefore, take advantage of your relationship and get some in the morning!
Let’s be blunt here…men typically want a replacement for mom when it comes to household duties. I can tell you that one way to my heart is FOOD. Women are nurturing and would leap bounds to make their man happy as long as you are not a douche. Couple this with perk #2 and we are in heaven fellow Love Monkeys!
