Historically, society associates the term “cheating” with men for the most part. In recent years, this bias has evened out a bit though. It is said that men cheat for physical reasons and women based on emotional reasons. Let’s take a look at the top 5 reasons women cheat based on research, online polls and our experiences here at Love Monkey.
Last night as I was getting ready to drift off into dreamland, it hit me. I’m fed up with my flaws. Tired of being dysfunctional when it comes to certain aspects of my life. We all have our flaws, insecurities and fears so how do we overcome them, if at all? The most challenging aspect of my existence is my love life in terms of making that leap of faith to trust and commit to someone and to myself as well actually. I’ve let my past carve a niche into my being that has been extremely difficult to smooth out. It’s a battle within that I am unsure a lot of people understand. Some of us take these leaps quite often, fall down and keep on leaping. However, depending on other responsibilities we have in our lives, it may not be so easy for some of us.
Happy Ever After — Is it simply in fairy tales we see on television or a viable possibility? We decided to get a female’s point of view on the topic. Pay attention Love Monkeys
Ever since we were little, we were all programmed to expect to be saved by our very own prince charming, fall in love, and live happily ever after. Thank you Disney for drilling this fairy tale complex into our subconscious. Unfortunately, for the 5 year old girl in all of us, those fairy tales don’t exist for most of us. I have come to the conclusion that we need to insert some realistic expectations into this whole “fairy tale” idea that we grew up believing in. I think most of us can’t really see the difference between a bratty need for the unattainable and actual happiness.
An interesting, recently launched website was brought to my attention which can be viewed at MeetAtTheAirport.com. As the website url states, the website is geared towards frequent flyers, airline staff and anyone delayed at the airport for a substantial amount of time. Here is an excerpt taken directly from their website:
Meeting someone new at the airport is fun and exciting. We’ve all thought about it while waiting for our flight. It’s a bit of adventure that adds spice to your everyday life. MeetAtTheAirport.com can now make a fantasy a reality. Find fellow travelers that are looking for that added sense of excitement that you only get when meeting someone new. Share a drink with an attractive stranger in the totally safe environment of a public airport. Perhaps, share a brunch or romantic dinner while waiting for your flight and explore the enticing possibilities that are presented to you. Romance, friendship, travel companion, networking… The possibilities are endless. If you’re tired of reading a magazine while waiting for your flight, don’t hesitate, register now.
In my opinion, this is a little too much. Do we really need to be on the hunt for women 24/7? I guess it can come in handy for horny frequent flyers and airline staff but I’m just not buying into it. You want my dating advice? Worry about traveling, catching your flight and reaching your destination safely!
I just came across this on the internet and had to share! It’s a spoof video of the infamous “decision” made by LeBron James last year. I am a huuuuge Miami Heat fan but this is great! The pink shirt he is wearing definitely helps make this spoof an epic one.
Went to the movies today to see Transformers : Dark of the Moon 3D. The film fell in line with previous editions which included great action scenes, some comedy and an absolutely beautiful supporting actress. In other words, the movie was a good “man” movie but I was left thinking of Sam Witwicky’s (Shia Labeouf) new love interest, Carly (Rosie Huntington-Whiteley)! Rosie Huntington-Whiteley replaced Megan Fox’s due to some public comments she made comparing Michael Bay to Adolf Hitler. Personally, I think Megan Fox made a huge mistake taking the Transformers’ films for granted and not appreciating the opportunity. As proven in this film, there are plenty hot chicks on the sidelines waiting anxiously for their time to shine. Now let’s get back to Miss Huntington-Whiteley!
